DRUM: PULSE OF LIFE
Do you have a drum and don’t know where to start? In this space we will explore the basics of rhythm and the essence of this powerful instrument as our sound ally, so that you can accompany your songs and your path with its presence. From a practical approach, we review concepts to understand the function of rhythm in all music.
You do not need previous knowledge.
WHAT IS IT ABOUT?
The drum is more than a percussion instrument: its sound is an echo of the heartbeat, the first rhythm we hear in the womb. In this course, we will explore the profound connection between rhythm, voice, and energy, combining rhythmic and vocal practices to unleash your sound with the magical company of your drum, an instrument that awakens ancestral memories and connects us with our wild nature.
You will learn to:
- Feel the relationship between the drum and your heart, connecting with vital energy.
- Practice the essential elements of rhythm: pulse, meter, and basic patterns.
- Explore different rhythms (binary, ternary, and compound).
- Accompany your favorite songs.
- Improvise your voice over different rhythms.
- Connect with the liberating energy of sound and the rhythm of the drum.
- Use the voice and the drum as tools to unlock memories and release emotions.

We will have 4 sessions of 90 minutes each.
Our classes will be on Thursdays:
March 4, 11, 18, and 25, 2026
3:00 pm – 4:30 pm (California – PDT)
4:00 pm – 5:30 pm (Arizona- MST)
5:00 – 6:30 pm (Miami – EST)
All classes will be LIVE via the ZOOM platform.
The classes will be recorded and shared on our Telegram channel.
